Chanel is a loving little girl with a friendly and outgoing temperament. She is especially fond of small children, her favorite being her breeder's 20 month old granddaughter. She gets along with most other dogs, but not always, so she would be best as an only dog. She likes to play, but she enjoys her quiet time just as much. This is not a dog with any aggressive tendencies, she absolutely loves the people she meets and would make someone a wonderful companion. However, she does love chasing cats!

She is crate trained and housebroken, although any dog in a new situation may have a few accidents until she learns her new schedule. She has had no health issues to date and is current on her veterinary care.

Chanel is excellent with children, but she will only be placed with children who know how to treat dogs kindly. A good natured male canine companion would probably be fine, although she would prefer to be an only dog. She would love a fenced yard to explore, but could be happy with brisk walks to interesting places instead. Chanel would make a marvelous companion for a retired couple. She would just love to spend leisurely hours gardening or just being a couch potato.
