Life just spiraled out of control for this anxious young French Bulldog, and he retaliated to all of the upsets in his life by attacking the dogs around him, with disastrous results.  Luc, who had once been a well socialized family companion, who had attended Puppy Kindergarten and Beginners Obedience classes found himself no longer welcome in his own home.  His owners turned him over to the FBVillage, for the sake of their other French Bulldog's safety and their own peace of mind.

His name is Luc, he used to live in Dade County, Florida, before moving to his new foster home in Georgia.  Luc was a wonderful pet until about eight months ago when his life was upended by the family's move into a new home. Previously, Luc had got along well with his housemate, another intact male French Bulldog a year his senior. He also had been able to interact peaceably with the local dogs at the dog park that he visited on a regular basis. Whether it was just his maturing from a footloose puppy into a mature adult male, or whether it was due to the upset of the move, or perhaps a little bit of both, problems started soon after the move. Luc became aggressive, taking toys away from the other French Bulldog and  bullying him in the yard.  Nor was his bad behavior directed only against his housemate.  He began challenging the other dogs at the dog park, to such a degree that he was finally banned. Even neutering did not decrease Luc's new and frighteningly aggressive behavior.

Luc's life spun out of control completely, when his life was once again upended four months ago, this time by birth of the family's first baby. Tension between the two male French Bulldogs escalated into an all out war, and although Luc was NEVER people aggressive, given his aggression towards the other dog in their home and towards other dogs as well, living with him was no longer possible.  This young dog, who never meant his people any harm, finally faced the biggest upset of all, the loss of his home and his family.

Please help by sponsoring Luc so that we can continue to come forward to provide training and rehabilitation for dogs like Luc that may otherwise not even have a chance at any future at all.  Thank you!
