Karen Krings Memorial Fund

Needy French Bulldogs around the United States share a legacy of love and hope through the Karen Krings Memorial Fund.

The Karen Krings Memorial Fund was formed in February 2007 with a generous financial legacy from the estate of the late Karen Krings, whose deep love of animals extended far beyond the dogs and cats and other furry creatures with whom she shared her home.

LizetteThe purpose of the K-Fund is outlined in our corporate Articles of Organization:  1) To rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome French Bulldogs and French Bulldog mixes in need, 2) To provide financial assistance and support services to rescue groups and private rescuers engaged in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming French Bulldogs and French Bulldog mixes in need, and 3) to promote programs that advance knowledge about, and responsible acquisition and ownership of, the French Bulldog breed.

We hope the K-Fund will help to spread a safety net for French Bulldogs in the care of all breed rescue groups, or in the hands of private rescuers, or discarded as too old or too sick or just plain useless by commercial kennels, or stranded by their owners' deaths or by kennel dissolutions.

The French Bulldog Village is the official website of the Karen Krings Memorial Fund and hosts the French Bulldog Bus, a free listing service for the placement of rescue dogs, as well the placement of older pups and adult dogs available from reputable breeders.  100% of any donations or contributions that we might receive from breeders or rescuers as the result of our assistance, are donated to the K-Fund.

Please visit our K-Kids, recipients of the K-Fund.  If you know about a needy French Bulldog that needs our help, please contact us.
