Takes A Village!
Against the odds, Betty Boop is walking and running again and boards the
FB Bus in search of her new forever home. Betty
survived a spinal stroke which left her completely paralyzed in the rear and in
diapers. It took a team of vets, therapists, a very dedicated FBV
volunteer, a determined Betty, the K-Fund and Betty Boop supporters to get her
back on her feet again.

Oaks. So when their owners, Robin & Micah Knott decided to take them
to the local mountains in Big Bear Lake, California so they could experience snow,
Robin got busy making the pair new coats to keep them warm...

Nicole Enman, and her fiancé, Patrick Harrington, were living happily in
Massachusetts with their much loved and very well cared for French Bulldog
Maximus, when they decided to adopt a breeder placement from Kentucky through
the French Bulldog Bus, a little French Bulldog named Bruce. The chaos that
ensued from bringing these two young adult male French Bulldogs together in the
same household was both frightening and disheartening to this well-meaning young
couple. Unfortunately, every year, many wonderful dogs are returned to private
rescues and to shelters because they just can’t seem to get along with the
resident dogs, and French Bulldogs are no exception. Unwilling to give up,
Nicole, Patrick, Maximus, and Bruce worked very hard to make their new family
work. This is their story.

Remembering Karen

I have been active with French Bulldogs and
a supporter and member of French Bulldog rescue for many years, so I often
receive calls from people who want to add a French Bulldog to the family. In the late winter of 2004, I received just such a phone call from a lady in southern California who was seeking
to adopt a rescued
French Bulldog. Her name was Karen Krings.
